Above is a slideshow of some photos of Ranger as a puppy before we got him. The breeder was really good at documenting his growth in both photos and videos, which I’m happy of because it’s nice to be able to see what he looked like as a wee one.
As you can see, he was an adorable puppy. As you can also see he looks pretty different now as an adult. Here’s another photo soon after we took him home:

It’s probably a good thing he’s not a puppy anymore, because while he’s still adorable, this is seriously a lethal amount of cuteness. It’s too much cuteness. No dog should be allowed to be this cute.

He was small enough to put in a tote bag (I only did this once but he loved it). He did get older, and bigger, and had to get “fixed” (I think it’s strange we refer to neutering as “fixed” – like he was broken before?):

Summer came to an end and winter began, bringing the standard Seattle rain. Good thing Ranger had his raincoat:

He was ready for the Superbowl:

He takes football very seriously.
Here he is after his very first haircut:

But he got bigger and fluffier after that:

Yet still small enough to fit in my lap:

And here he is last summer (2017) shortly after we got Grizzly:
