I’m devoting a blog post to Starmark because so far they’ve made the most resilient, time-consuming dog toys I’ve purchased for my dogs. Aussiedoodles get bored easily, especially when they are puppies, so it’s important to keep their brains occupied when you’re not around or don’t have time to interact with them. Treats like bully sticks or dried cow ears are pricey and will only buy you a few minutes. These Starmark dog toys have proven to keep them occupied the longest, so I’m recommending them to other Aussiedoodle owners who might need a break!
These are my favorites:
Treat Dispensing Pickle Pocket Dog Toy
This was one of the first toys I bought for Ranger and it’s still going strong. The rubber pickle has small gaps cut into it for sticking treats, peanut butter, cheese, whatever inside. It takes the dogs awhile to get all the goodies out of the pickle and it’s really resilient. I liked it so much I bought a second one so they both have their own.

This toy can be used in a couple ways. Buy these round chew things to stick inside the big hole for hours of entertainment. They are really hard to stick into the toy, but also really hard for the dogs to get them out. Win. You can also put small treats inside the small hole for a secondary attraction – as the dog plays with the toy they fall out.

Ranger likes it so much sometimes he steals Grizzly’s, too.
This toy is just okay. Ranger pulled the yellow piece out from inside of it pretty soon after I gave it to him so that loses some points. Without the yellow insert treats fall out easier, but it can still be used to put peanut butter inside. It’s a fine toy, but there are other variations on the market that are just as good or better.
Starmark has many more toys and treats on the market, these are just the ones I’ve tried! I’ll update this post if we try any more of them.
Note: I may receive a small compensation when you buy something on Amazon through these links. It helps pay for all the dog treats. Thanks!
