Sure, most people just celebrate the actual day they were born. That’s why it’s called a birthday. But Ranger and Grizzly’s birthdays just happen to be exactly one week apart, so it made the most sense (obviously) to just dedicate the whole week to their birthdays – starting with Ranger’s and ending with Grizzly’s. Because why not?
So I hope you enjoy seven days of ways to celebrate your dog’s birthday!
DAY ONE
Today Ranger is four years old! The last few years went by so fast. It feels like just yesterday he was the cutest puppy in the entire world:

He’s grown into such a handsome, wonderful dog. Does he bark at mail and package delivery people? Yup. Stare at us intensely until we break down and give him whatever he wants? Often. But he’s our sweetheart and I’ve never met a dog as smart as he is.

So for the first dog birthday treat I’m honoring tradition and giving them a Lazy Dog Pup-PIE ($9.20). I’ve given them one of these every year for their birthday. It started with Ranger’s first birthday and he loved it so much I just make sure to get him one every year.
We still have our foster dog Blue so he got to join the doggy birthday party, too!
Check back tomorrow for the next birthday dog treat!
