Okay, so I am taking a little departure from birthday-themed treats and toys today. For today’s birthday gifts I got them new versions of their favorite toys. It just so happens that both of these are from BarkBox – but I swear I didn’t plan it that way. They like what they like.
Grizzly got a new stuffed pumpkin toy – this was the third or fourth one of these I’ve bought for him. They last awhile and are his absolute favorite toy. It has little seeds for him to chew off, crinkly plastic inside for fun crunching, and he likes to whip it around by the long piece that connects the pumpkin to the the cut off top. Watching him play with it is always really cute. I bought this one a few weeks ago in preparation for his birthday and unfortunately since then has been removed from the BarkBox site. It’s funny because my husband was just suggesting I by a bunch of them in case they stop selling them in the future. Of course when I went to do that they were no longer available. Ugh! I messaged them asking if they were going to restock it but they said no. So I guess this is the last one of these Grizzly gets. Such a bummer.
For Ranger I bought a second comet toy. The first one we received in a SuperChewer BarkBox and both dogs became obsessed with it. Grizzly, no matter how hard he worked on it, was unable to destroy it and for some reason Ranger loves to chase it. I bought a second one so they could both enjoy the toy instead of fighting over it.
