Note: I was not asked to review this product by Bark and am not being compensated in any way by them for this post. I may, however, receive a small amount from Amazon if you buy through my link.
Bark (of BarkBox) contacted me asking me to try their new Bark Bright dental chew line. Not because of this blog or how surprisingly un-famous Ranger and Grizzly are but because I signed up to be a “Bark Beta.” Every now and then Bark will message me on Facebook asking me to try a new product of theirs. Most of the time I don’t – but as you know I am pretty obsessed with my dogs’ dental hygiene so this one caught my eye.

Both boys’ sniffers were on full alert the moment I opened the box. It was hard to get a picture of the products because they kept getting in the way. The above is the best I could do.
The pack came with two bags of dental chews – pretty standard looking dental chews, maybe a little harder than others I’ve given them – and a tube of Triple Enzymatic Toothpaste for Dogs. You just squeeze some of the toothpaste into one of the dental chew crevices then give it to the dog. Super easy.

Sorry for the blurry photo, I struggled taking the photo on my phone with just one hand.
So I got two out, put on the toothpaste, and gave them to Ranger and Grizzly to test out. They were both hesitant and uncertain at first, they both took the treats from me then dropped them on the ground and stared at them. Then they looked back up at me. Then back down at the ground. Weirdos. Eventually, though, they decided to give them a shot and ate them up pretty quickly. Grizzly ate his so fast I didn’t get a picture of him eating it, just Ranger.

I can’t say if these work well or not – only time will tell. Honestly, I’m not sure I’ll even be able to say with confidence if they work or not after some time. It’s a hard thing to track. I’ll keep an eye on their teeth, though, and will update this post when I have some evidence either way.
Has anyone else tried these? Thoughts?

Hi–I’m considering these for my dog but I’m interested to hear about your experience since you first posted. thanks!

Sorry for the year-late response I keep missing the comments on here! I didn’t purchase the Bark dental kit stuff after trying it the first time, it was a bit expensive and didn’t seem any better than Greenies and the teeth cleaning toys I give them.
