This was a special camping trip because we had (my favorite) foster dog with us, Blue.

I was more interested in taking photos of Blue than I was the campground (sorry!) so these are the best I have. It’s a small campground, not very many sites, in a nice forested area. There are some trails winding around from the campground and we did some very short hikes (short because we had Blue with us and being blind and old he doesn’t make the best hiker).
We stayed at this site as part of a larger multi-week long road trip so it wasn’t our primary destination. We didn’t do much – just the little hikes around the campground and hanging out at the site. Sites are pretty close together but a lot of nice trees and bushes in between for a little privacy.
It’s a nice little campground to stay at for a night but not much going on in the area except hiking, which we did not really do so I can’t speak to it much. I’d still say this isn’t really a destination state park – but a perfectly nice one to stop at.
